About UsThe cornerstone of our method is listening to our clients and thinking, hard, about their needs and online potential. We create (and recreate) websites and other online services such as podcasts, databases, E-newsletters, E-books, database interfaces, and “PDA-friendly” microsites. These services are underpinned by our Six Core Principles of Online Content, set out in our forthcoming book Mend Your Nets: The Mendr.net Guide to Getting It Right Online. Biographies of co-founders Fin Keegan and Fiona Keane follow.
As an Electronic Resources Specialist for Columbia University, he developed and maintained a large website with numerous resources for students and staff. He produced a monthly EMail newsletter and oversaw the digitization and online delivery of texts and teaching materials. For other clients, he had to develop the most efficient and productive way to deploy large quantities of dynamic information, often custom-building interactive databases to meet client needs. Sites included the International Conference for the Study of Political Thought (Webmaster/Designer), the Women's Commission for Refugee Women and Children (Webmaster/Designer), the Reproductive Health for Refugees Consortium (Webmaster/Designer/Database Coder), and the Political Science Department of Columbia University (Database Admin) His personal weblog may be found at finkeegan.com FIONA KEANE is Director of Marketing for mendr.net. Ms Keane has extensive experience both online (as a website administrator for RHRC, Columbia PoliSci, and WCRWC) and offline (as a College Lecturer and Certified Real Estate Appraiser in the US). As a playwright, her work has been performed in Dublin (Filmbase, Project at the Mint) and New York (Theatre for the New City).
